Pay-It-Forward at Local Harvest Grocery
Welcome to our new Pay-It-Forward program. Anyone can donate to the fund and anyone can redeem these vouchers to cover their grocery costs here at Local Harvest.
To contribute: add any amount to your purchase in-store or use the form below to contribute online.
Contributions are written on paper vouchers available at each register.
To redeem: vouchers can be handed to a cashier at check out, no questions asked.

How does this program work?
This is a “give what you can, take what you need” type of program.
Anyone can donate any amount at the register or online.
That amount will be written on a paper voucher, which is then placed in a display at each register.
Anyone can take a voucher to cover their grocery costs, just hand it to the cashier at check-out.
Who can use a voucher?
Anyone can redeem a voucher at any time, no questions asked. There is no need to prove hardship or need.
There is currently no limit in place for the amount of vouchers used or products they are used to purchase.
How do you redeem a voucher?
Paper vouchers are available in displays at each register. You can use as many as needed to reduce or cover your grocery cost.
If the full voucher amount is not used, any remainder will be transferred onto a new voucher to be put back into rotation.
How long will this run?
We started this program to help our community members facing the loss of SNAP benefits starting in November, 2025. We hope to run this program long-term, regardless of the situation with SNAP.
